Calling All KHS Classmates!
It’s hard to believe we’re coming up on 40 years since we graduated from Kauai High School, but 2027 is right around the corner and approaching fast! Let’s get started planning what I know will be an exciting, fun-filled 40th Class Reunion. I can’t wait to see everyone again and celebrate with all of our classmates.
Planning a 40th Class Reunion is a big undertaking, and it will be nearly impossible for one person to handle everything alone. There are a lot of moving parts — choosing the location, deciding on dates, coordinating activities, gathering classmate information, helping with communication, collecting ideas, and eventually organizing the details that will make this reunion truly special.
That’s why I'm asking for volunteers!
Whether you have a little time or a lot, your help would be greatly appreciated. Even small contributions can make a big difference. We’ll need classmates who are willing to help with planning, making phone calls, sharing ideas, tracking down classmates, gathering photos, coordinating with venues, helping with decorations, music, food, activities, and anything else that comes up along the way.
This reunion belongs to all of us, and the more classmates who get involved, the better it will be. It’s a chance not only to help organize a memorable celebration, but also to reconnect, laugh, reminisce, and be part of something meaningful for the Kauai High School Class of ’87.
So if you’re willing to lend a hand, please let me know. I would love to have you be part of the planning team!
We’d also love for this website to become a place where classmates can share old photos and memories from our Kauai High days. If you have any photos you’d like to share, please feel free to upload them on the Photo Gallery page.
As reunion plans begin to take shape, we’ll be updating this website with the latest news, details, and announcements — so check back often!
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please email me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Hope all of you are doing well, and I’m really looking forward to our celebration together in 2027!
Classmate/Friend,

Please email me your name, phone number, and the email address where you’d like to receive class reunion updates.
One thought I’d like to share: If it were my choice, I would love for the reunion to be held on Kauai so we could arrange to revisit our high school campus and possibly participate in Homecoming. That would mean the reunion may take place in October 2027. This is not set in stone — it’s just my thought for now. We’ll vote on it, and as always, majority wins! Stay tuned!

First things first — where, when, and how long should we celebrate?
Before we can start planning the food, music, memories, laughter, and all the fun, we need to answer the big questions: Where should our 40th Class Reunion take place? What month works best? And how many days should we gather?
